Beaut day at Rainbow Beach

After heavy rain on arrival yesterday and overnight, we woke to a beautiful day at Rainbow Beach, on the Fraser Coast. Hit the beach late morning, Ben and the kids in the surf, and Sarah for a long walk along the beach overlooked by the stunning multi coloured sand cliffs. Pearl has a prime spot overlooking the beach, and the village itself is lovely, small and laidback. The afternoon was also spent at the beach, and with the water 22 degrees, even Sarah hit the surf! We ended the day by trying out the swimming pool, then a BBQ and early night in readiness for Fraser Island tomorrow.
