Maleny to Rainbow Beach

A very early start so zoomed off in Pearl through Maleny and Montville, both very quaint mountain villages, to the Kondililla National Park where we parked up for breakfast and then a cool rainforest walk to some rock pools and waterfalls. We then continued on through Mapleton, another cute Blackall Range village, then down through
Nambour, Yandina and on to Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast. We stopped here for a blast in the surf, play on the beach and some lunch before jumping back in Pearl and continuing on up the Sunshine Coast to Noosa. Noosa was not what we were expecting (high rises etc) but was very low key and stylishly tucked away amongst the trees. From here we continued on through more varied lanscape, finishing through the Great Sandy National Park to Rainbow Beach. Just beat the rain to set up for the night right on the beach in the Rainbow Beach Holiday Village.

  1. On ya Pearl! Nice one!

Good to see you wearing some cooler clothing so I don't feel so jealous. After a long w/end of torrential rain, we woke to a cloudless sky this morning and a CRACKER frost. Don't you hate it when you get ice on the INSIDE of your windows?!

Trip sounding busy busy - how cool. Have fun.
